Superiority:
black Powder. Insoluble in water and xylene, soluble in pyridine (blue with brownish red fluorescence). It turns dark purple in concentrated sulfuric acid. It appears red-purple in alkaline solution of insurance Powder and yellow-brown in acidic solution. It is used for dyeing cotton fibers and printing cotton fabrics, and is also used for dyeing vinylon and viscose fibers.
