    Product Description:

    Chromium(III) Nitrate Nonahydrate is purple-red deliquescent crystals, decomposes when heated to 125.5°C, melting point 60°C. It is soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, acetone and inorganic acids. Soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, acetone and inorganic acids. Its aqueous solution is green when heated, and rapidly change to reddish purple after cooling. Corrosive, can cause burns. Contact with flammable objects can cause combustion.

    Application:

    Chromium(III) Nitrate Nonahydrate is commonly used in the preparation of chromium-containing catalysts, as a coal dyeing agent in the printing and dyeing industry, in glass and ceramic glazes and as a corrosion inhibitor.
