Product Description:
Fipronil is a phenylpyrazole insecticide with a broad spectrum of insecticidal activity, mainly gastric poisoning, touch and some systemic action. Its mechanism of action is to impede the metabolism of chloride controlled by γ-aminobutyric acid in insects. It can be applied to the soil or as a foliar spray. Soil applications are effective against maize root and leaf beetles, goldenseal and ground tigers. When applied as a foliar spray, it has a high level of efficacy against chervil moths, vegetable butterflies and rice thrips, and has a long shelf life.
Application:
(1)It is a fluoropyrazole-containing broad-spectrum insecticide with high activity and a wide range of applications, showing high sensitivity to pests such as Hemiptera, Tasseloptera, Coleoptera and Lepidoptera, as well as pests that have developed resistance to pyrethroid and carbamate insecticides. It can be used on rice, cotton, vegetables, soybeans, rape, tobacco, potatoes, tea, sorghum, maize, fruit trees, forests, public health and livestock to control rice stem borer, brown fly, rice weevil, cotton bollworm, stick insect, small vegetable moth, cabbage moth, kale night moth, beetle, root cutter, bulb nematode, caterpillar, fruit tree mosquito, wheat long tube aphid, coccid, caterpillar, etc. The recommended dosage is 12.5-150g/hm2 and has been approved for field trials on rice and vegetables in China. The formulation is 5% gel suspension and 0.3% granules.
(2)It is mainly used on rice, sugar cane, potatoes and other crops. In animal health care, it is mainly used to kill parasites such as fleas and lice on cats and dogs.
