Product Description
Fluorescent Brightener KSN is a fluorescent brightener of benzoxazole with a yellow-green powder appearance and a blue-violet fluorescent light. It has good compatibility, does not precipitate easily, adds little and has a good whitening effect, and also has excellent heat and light resistance. The fluorescent brightener KSN has a similar chemical structure to the whitening agent OB-1 and is better soluble than OB-1 for plastics and polyester fibres, with better whitening effect. It is suitable for polyester, polyamide and polyacrylonitrile, especially for engineering plastics and synthetic fibres.

Application |
Widely used in plastics and polyester, it can also be used in films, injection moulded and extruded materials, and is also suitable for whitening synthetic resins at any stage, as well as brightening and brightening in the paint, lacquer and ink industries. |
Method of Application
The fluorescent brightener KSN is suitable for whitening and brightening plastic substrates by the dry, wet and masterbatch methods. It is particularly suitable for dry whitening, where the product is mixed well with the plastic substrate or resin and then extruded after melting.
Reference Dosage
1. The reference dosage of brightener for general plastic substrates is 0.002-0.03%, i.e. about 10-30 grams of fluorescent brightener KSN per 100 kg of plastic raw material.
2. In transparent plastics the reference amount of brightener is 0.0005-0.002%, i.e. about 0.5-2 grams per 100 kg of plastic raw material.
3. In polyester resin (polyester fibre) the reference amount of brightener is 0.01-0.02%, i.e. about 10-20 grams per 100 kg of resin.
