L-homophenylalanine, or (S)-2-amino-4-phenylbutyric acid, L-homophenylalanine is an unnatural chiral α-amino acid, and this class of amino acids and their esters are important raw materials used in the preparation of angiotensin (ACE) inhibitor drugs.
Application:
(1)It is the common intermediate of about 20 new anti-hypertensive drugs in the world at present.
(2)It can be used directly in the manufacture of such drugs as Enalapril (Enalapril), Benazepril (Benazepril), Lisinopril (Lenopril), Captopril (Captopril), TemocapriChemicalbookl, Cilazapril (Cilazapril) and so on.
(3)Various anti-hypertensive drugs such as Sprirapril, Delapril (Dilapril), Imidapril (Midazapril), Quinapril (Quinapril), etc., can be manufactured by making a NEPA (NEPA) compound.
