Product Description:
Propachlor is a highly selective herbicide for rice fields. It is safe for rice and has a broad spectrum of weed killers. Weed seeds absorb the agent during germination, but root uptake is poor. It should only be used as a pre-emergence soil treatment. Rice is also sensitive to propachlor during germination. To ensure the safety of early application, propachlor is often used with the safety agent.
Application:
(1)Selective pre-emergence herbicide, cell division inhibitor. Weeds take up the agent through the mesohypocotyl and germinal sheath, interfering with protein synthesis, and indirectly affecting photosynthesis and respiration of weeds. Generally used as a soil treatment to prevent and control barnyardgrass, duckweed, heterogeneous sedge, motherwort, cowslip, chytrid, fluorine and other weeds in rice fields, but less effective against perennial weeds. The dosage is 4.5~5.3g/100m2, such as rice seedling field or direct seeding field, use 30% emulsified oil 15~17mL/100m2, spray to water or mix with poisonous soil and spread. In southern or subtropical areas, the dosage should be used at a low limit, and in northern areas, it should be applied after testing.
(2)It can prevent and control weeds such as paddy field shaped sedge, cattle felt, duckweed and knapweed.
