Product Description:
White crystalline powder, easily soluble in water, ammonia, glycerol, slightly soluble in ethanol. Pure silver nitrate is light stable, but its aqueous solution and solid are often kept in brown reagent bottles due to the general lack of purity of the product.
Application:
Analytical chemistry for precipitation of chloride ions, working reference silver nitrate for calibration of sodium chloride solutions. Inorganic industry for the manufacture of other silver salts. Electronic industry for the manufacture of conductive adhesives, new gas purification agent, A8x molecular sieve, silver-plated uniform pressure clothing and gloves for electric work.
