Product Description:
Sodium dicyanamide is a colourless to pale yellow solid with two crystalline forms, below 33 °C in a monoclinic crystal system with space group P21/n and above this temperature in an orthorhombic crystal system with space group Pbnm.
Application:
(1) Sodium dicyandiamide is an important chemical raw material that is widely used in the pharmaceutical, dye and pesticide industries. Its most important applications are the synthesis of the antimicrobial agent chlorhexidine hydrochloride and the intermediate triazinyl ring for the synthesis of sulfonyl herbicides.
