Product Description:
Soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents. It is very hygroscopic and gradually absorbs water in the air and becomes a mucilaginous substance. It can form soluble complexes with calcium, magnesium and other metal ions.
Application:
(1)Used in the food industry as a food quality improver, pH adjuster, metal ion chelator, dispersant, swelling agent, etc.
(2)It is also used as a general analytical reagent, water softener and for photographic printing and printing.
