Product Description:
White crystal or powder. Contains 4 molecules of water of crystallisation when crystallised at low temperature. Soluble in 1.5 parts of water, aqueous solution is neutral, slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone. Relative density 2.990, melting point 570°C. Low toxicity, LD50 (rat, oral) 2750mg/kg, strong oxidising property, friction or impact with organic matter can cause combustion or explosion. Irritating.
Application:
Analytical reagent. Cathode material for electronic tubes. Fireworks, flares, flamethrowers, matches, TV tubes and optical glass, also used in medicine.
