Used in the production of organic synthesis and pesticides. Trichloroethylene can be used as an anthelmintic agent in the production of tetrachloroethylene; it can be used in the production of hexachloroethane, as an anthelmintic for veterinary use, to prevent and control hepatic and gastric leech diseases, clonorchiasis and nematodes disease.
