Application
DL aspartic acid (DL Asp) has important medicinal applications and can be used to synthesize DL aspartic acid potassium magnesium salt (pulse stability) for the treatment of heart rate disorders, tachycardia, heart failure, myocardial infarction, angina, hepatitis, and liver cirrhosis.
It is also an intermediate for synthesizing peptides.
