L-Pyroglutamic Acid is also called L-pyroglutamic acid. Insoluble in ether, slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, soluble in water (40 at 25℃), ethanol, acetone and glacial acetic acid. Its sodium salt can be used as moisturizing agent in cosmetics, its moisturizing effect is better than glycerin, sorbitol, non-toxic, non-irritating for skin care and hair care cosmetics; This product has inhibitory effect on tyrosine oxidase, can prevent melanoid deposition, has whitening effect on skin; It has softening effect on keratin.
