The performance of fluoropolymer fiber optic materials depends largely on the structure of the monomer, the production cost of perfluoroacrylate monomers is too high; and there is a great difficulty in polymerization, and the main commercial value is the acrylic acid part of the 2-position fluorine substitution and ester group on the perfluorinated polymers. Therefore, 2-fluoroacrylate is the key monomer for the production of fluorinated polymer optical fiber materials, and 2-fluoropropionate is the key intermediate for the synthesis of 2-fluoroacrylate.
