Product Description
Paraformaldehyde is mainly used in the production and use of herbicides, but also used in the production of synthetic resins (such as artificial horn products or artificial ivory) and adhesives. It is also used in the pharmaceutical industry (the active ingredient of contraceptive cream) and the disinfection of pharmacies, clothes and bedding, etc. It is also used as a fumigant disinfectant, fungicide and insecticide.
Application
(1)Pesticides: synthesized ethachlor, butachlor and glyphosate, etc.;
(2)Coatings: synthesized high-grade automobile paint;
(3)Resins: synthesized urea-formaldehyde resins, phenolic resins, polyacetal resins, honey-amine resins, ion exchange resins, etc., and a variety of adhesives;
(4)Paper: synthesized paper reinforcement;
(5)Casting: sand removal agents, synthetic casting adhesives;
(6)Breeding: fumigation disinfectants.
(7) Organic raw materials: used in the preparation of pentaerythritol, trimethylolpropane, glycerol, acrylic acid, methyl acrylate, methacrylic acid, N-hydroxymethacrylamide, alkyl phenol, methyl vinyl ketone and so on.
