Product Description:
Sodium Thiocyanate is a white rhombohedral crystal or powder. It is easily deliquescent in air and produces toxic gases in contact with acid. Soluble in water, ethanol, acetone and other solvents.
Application:
(1) It is mainly used as an additive in concrete, solvent for drawing acrylic fibres, chemical analysis reagent, colour film developer, defoliant for certain plants and herbicide for airport roads, as well as in pharmaceuticals, printing and dyeing, rubber treatment, black nickel plating and manufacture of artificial mustard oil.
